Mixtura - Cocktail Recipes App Reviews

I own all of the liquor cabinet apps and Mixtura stands out for its ease of use and curated drink library. Many of the other apps make ingredient entry too complicated or include every awful drink under the sun. Even with the paid drink library increases, there are still a few classics missing (Mai Tai?) which need to be added by the developer.

2 oz of bitters in a Manhattan? Are we serious here!?!?

No Old-Fashioned!? And Ill echo the 2oz of bitters in the Manhattan. Yikes!

[Doggone it, I really want to like this app. But its been at least a year since I reviewed the first version and noted a couple of serious mistakes. None of those simple things have been fixed, even with the update a few months ago. Ive got to take it down to just one star for that ongoing lack of concern.] Was excited to see there was an update...was disappointed that the same misspellings and recipe errors remain from my previous review: Presenting only the drinks I can make, given the ingredients I have -- this is a great idea. And the graphics and organization are wonderful (the animation of the ice cubes rolling into the glass is an especially nice touch) However, the actual content needs to be given a much closer examination, as there are some glaring errors. That famous Tiki drink is spelled "Mai Tai", not "Mia Tia". And if I were to make a Manhattan following this recipe...well...that would be one rough drink. Once the content is been proofread and fixed, this will be a GREAT app.

After a year, the Manhattan recipe still calls for 2 ounces of bitters? Cmon, my mouth is all puckered!

I like the format of this application a lot. Especially the way it handles ingredients is fun. Id love if you could add your own recipes- There are plenty Ive made once and will never remember again.

This app is a great idea, but its not really working for me. After I select the ingredients I have the my bar list shows me drinks using ingredients I said I did not have on hand. Such as cranberry juice and triple sec. Either there is a bug or the design of this app is seriously flawed.

If you need instructions on how to make two ingredient mixer pours like Gin and Tonic or Rum and Coke, this is your app. If youre interested in actual cocktails with correct ratios, look elsewhere.

I really like this app, mostly because of the way it is designed. I like the way it looks the most! Its simple yet effective. I like how it tells me which drinks I can make based on what I have in my personal bar. I only wish there were more drink options! Ive already bought all the drink expansions, but feel like there still arent enough options.

Love the ui elements and animations! I no longer need to spend hours finding a recipe online or date a bartender! Awesome!
